was founded in 1980 by company president and owner Bob Jordan.  Bob's business has evolved over the last 30 years from a one person operation based out of a rented cubicle in Cleveland, OH to a nine (9) acre property which employs a full staff  of sales representatives and circuit breaker technicians.  North American Switchgear spans over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space which contains over 10,000 low and medium voltage circuit breakers from all major manufacturers.  Aside from the sale of circuit breakers, switchgear and replacements parts, the facility, still based in Cleveland, OH, boasts a 7,000 square foot circuit breaker repair shop which offers a number of services to improve the quality of customer equipment.  North American Switchgear prides itself on making sure their clients receive personal, knowledgeable attention that only a true family business can provide.
